| At SIPS Inc, we focus on developing projects that require thinking outside the box and providing innovative solutions for power generation with the least environmental impact. We identify and evaluate project development opportunities related to wind power, geothermal energy and oil & gas. We are currently bidding to install a wind turbine in Sachs Harbour under an IPP agreement with Northwest Territories Power Corporation. We are evaluating the viability of setting up geothermal power plants using abandoned oil wells in Alberta as geothermal source. In the oil and gas sector we are continually evaluating the prospects of drilling natural gas wells in Yukon for electric power generation. |
